Muppets Most Wanted at Epcot Center

Just prior to leaving for Tokyo Disney, visitor at Epcot Center in Orlando, Florida were treated to this awesome gyroscope based Muppet Labs interactive treat with Beaker and Bunson Honeydew.  Enjoy, I felt so lucky to be present when this came out from behind the Imagination plaza for our delight!

Take a Ride in New Orleans

Here is a picture I took on the historic New Orleans train I rode around the city.  This car was original and was made of all wood and metal inside.  When I got to the end of the line, we really were at the end of the line.  We had to depart, wait for a while as they changed the direction of all the wooden benches, and reload and repay to take the ride back into the city.  It was a joyous experience, however half way back into the city the car stopped, we were told to depart, and then a bus picked us up.  The explanation we were given is that a parade was happening and they were making other arrangements.  What fun!  Enjoy my picture of this memorable experience.

Memories of Barkus - Who Dat!

A few years ago I had the privilege to visit New Orleans over their big Super Bowl weekend.  Although the big game was not in their home town, the spirit in the streets and throughout Louisiana could be felt like a constant hum of an electric generator.  I enjoyed the many planned and unplanned displays of both Mardi Gras and Who Dat fever that happend city-wide.  This is one of my most memorable, a regular Mardi Gras parade called Barkus.  This parade is dedicated to all the pets that complete our lives as can be seen in the large dog float.  You can also see the Who Dat fever has infected this dog, look closely into his eyes!
